Data Deletion Instructions

Planig (planig.com.br) is a content scheduling tool for Instagram. This page explains exactly how you can delete the data we hold about you, including any data we obtained from Instagram through your authorization, and how long the process takes.

Option 1 — Delete your account inside the app (immediate)

  1. Sign in at planig.com.br/login.
  2. Open Settings in the left menu.
  3. Scroll to Danger zone and click Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted right away.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you cannot access your account, email privacy@planig.com.br from the address registered with your account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. We confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days, as required by the GDPR and the Brazilian LGPD.

What is deleted

  • Account data: name, email address and authentication credentials.
  • Instagram data: the OAuth access token, the Instagram account ID and username, and any post metrics we cached. The token is also revoked so Planig loses all access to your Instagram account.
  • Content: all posts, drafts, captions and schedules you created.
  • Media: every image and video you uploaded, removed from our storage.
  • Business data: the companies/accounts you registered and their settings.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We keep only what the law requires us to keep — for example billing records needed for tax and accounting purposes, which are retained separately for the legally mandated period and are never used for any other purpose.

Removing only your Instagram data (keeping your account)

If you want Planig to stop accessing your Instagram account but wish to keep your Planig account, you do not need to delete everything:

  1. Sign in and open Companies in the left menu.
  2. Click Disconnect on the connected account.

This immediately deletes the stored access token and all Instagram identifiers, and Planig can no longer read or publish anything on your behalf. You can also revoke Planig’s access at any time directly from Instagram, in Settings and privacy → Apps and websites.
